Mustang Girl Monday: Trisha Linkus Goes From Posing To Racing

11997516_10153077522072227_1616497782_n (1)It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we’re talking with Trisha Linkus and her 2013 “Gotta Have It Green” Mustang by CJ Pony Parts.

Trisha has had a love for cars and the enthusiast community since the moment she started driving. She started out as an apiring automotive model and still likes to be in front of the camera sometimes. But now her focus has turned to learning “the ins and outs of all kinds of cars.”

Trisha always found herself surrounded by Mustangs. She even sold cars at a Ford dealership for a period of time. That was the first time she thought about buying a Mustang but the timing just wasn’t right. Fast forward a few years and now, she has one to call her own. “Last year I spent most of the season tagging along to car shows and races with friends. In August 2014, I attended CJ Pony Parts Customer Appreciation Day, and that was when I saw that their 2013 project car “Gotta Have It Race” was for sale. Three weeks later, she was mine!”

Since then Trisha has raced at the NMRA season opener in Bradenton, FL and the NMRA MIR in Maryland. She attended Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, SC and the car was also in a booth car for McLeod Clutches at the American Muscle car show. The car has come a long way with new looks, courtesy of a new vinyl wrap design by 13-3 Motorsports, and a few extra horses courtesy of the Cobra jet manifold set up, installed and tuned by Revolution Automotive. Trisha plans to continue growing as a racer and enjoy every second behind the wheel of her beauty!
