NASCAR Champion Kurt Busch performed drift demos during the 2018 SEMA Show in his 2018 Ford F-150 Supercab pickup built by ZB Customs. The truck is on display at the Ford Performance booth at the 2018 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana, from Dec. 6 to Dec. 8.
The 1,000 hp F-150 truck features On3 Twin Turbochargers and an On3 Intercooler and Ford Performance side exit exhaust.
Other build highlights include a Ford Performance forged rotating assembly, Ford Performance road racing oil pan and pump, JE forged EN coated pistons, Total Seal zero gap piston rings, a set of flow-matched 1,000cc fuel injectors from Fuel Injector Clinic, Driveshaft Shop chrome-moly (3.5x.095-inch) prop shaft, and the engine has been tuned by Trudyno Sports with the Livernois Motorsports MyCalibrator.
The exterior of the truck was shot with Axalta Electron Blue and highlighted by custom pearl ghost graphics, Dezign Works carbon splitter and spoiler, and Diode Dynamics exterior lighting. The bodywork by ZB Customs features 4.5-inch widebody fenders and widened bumpers, in addition to the ZB Customs grille insert. The interior is adorned with alligator leather seats, steering wheel, and arm rests.
The truck receives its stance from a set of JRI Shocks with hydraulic ride height system, MaxTrac 2-inch dropped front spindles, and PAC coilover springs and sway bars. Brembo 8-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers are seen behind the three-piece Forgeline FF3 wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar G:2 Tires.
The FF3T wheels seen on the truck are three-piece wheels manufactured from fully-forged 6061-T6 aluminum centers. The 22×12 Forgeline wheels feature Pearl Gray centers with Black Pearl outers and a five-spoke design with a flat face profile, spokes that taper to a narrower width at the rim register, chamfered edges, and a small engraved center cap.
In January 2019, the Ford F-150 truck will be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale with proceeds benefiting Camp Southern Ground located in Georgia.
