Each year the automotive aftermarket converges on the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center with truckloads of its latest wares. With thousands of companies vying for the attention of dealers and media from around the world, it is the project vehicles that are the stars of the show. Among those vessels for mods, there are few more popular than Ford’s F-Series pickups. This year the company is backing five Super Duty builds — which are among 50 such custom Blue Oval rides destined for display — at this year’s show.
For 2020 Super Duty customers, these SEMA trucks feature new levels of incredible customization, capability and performance. — Eric Cin, global director, Ford Vehicle Personalization and Accessories
“Super Duty customers love to personalize their trucks, whether modified for the street, off-road, towing and hauling or the ultimate in recreational use,” Eric Cin, global director, Ford Vehicle Personalization and Accessories, said. “For 2020 Super Duty customers, these SEMA trucks feature new levels of incredible customization, capability and performance.”
Among these ‘super’ builds are F-250, F-350, and F-450 variants packed with a host of functional and aesthetic mods…
LGE-CTS Motorsports Baja Forged Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab XLT
Built for rough terrain, the LGE-CTS Motorsports Baja Forged-prepped 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab XLT features a rear canopy and rooftop tent for camping. To get to that remote camping spot, it is upgraded with Rigid LED lighting, an Icon 4.5-inch Stage 7 suspension lift kit and 18-inch Method Race 304 NV HD bronze wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires. It also wears a Warn Industries 10S winch, and an ARB USA 6.5-foot awning with LED lights. It even carries an Element refrigerator with freezer and touring camp chairs.
Ford Accessories F-250 Super Duty Tremor Crew Cab with Black Appearance Package
Getting in on the action, Ford Accessories took an F-250 with the Tremor package and made it even more capable with a 2-inch front-end lift and 35-inch Wrangler Duratrac tires, and a factory optional Ford Performance Parts Winch by Warn. This Crew Cab also rocks a Ford Performance Parts chase rack, rock light, 50-inch LED light bar kit by Rigid, Ford Accessories Raptor-style side steps with Ford lettering, bed ramps, and a Toughbed spray-in bedliner.
DeBerti Design set out to turn an F-450 Super Duty Platinum into the ultimate mobile office. The company added a Kelderman air suspension, which provides room for the massive, 22-inch American Force wheels and 37-inch Toyo tires. Rigid LED lights keep the workspace lit at night and DeBerti Design’s pullout bumper drawer and dual pull-out fender/cabinet provide plenty of storage, while a Ford Accessories safe by Console Vault provides more secure storage.
BDS Suspension Ford F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab XLT
Another off-road-ready machine is BDS Suspension’s black-and-chroma-elite copper-painted project, Go Beyond. The company upgraded this F-350 with its 4-inch radius arm lift with Fox 2.5 factory race Dual Speed Compression coilovers and shocks. It conquers tough terrain on massive 40-inch Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 tires wrapped around 20-inch Method Race 605 NV-series wheels. Leading its more aggressive visage is an Addictive Desert Designs stealth fighter front bumper fitted with a Warn Industries Zeon 12S winch and Rigid LED lights.
CGS Performance Products Ford F-250 Super Duty Tremor Crew Cab with Black Appearance Package
CGS Performance Products ramped up the off-road prowess of this F-250 Tremor with 20-inch Grid wheels and 37-inch General tires and a Rigid Adapt LED light bar. Painted in custom red Sikkens paint by Akzo Nobel, this truck receives bed protection courtesy of a Ford Accessories Sportliner carpet kit by Bed Rug and a Retrax PowerTraxPro MX bed cover.
If all those modified trucks aren’t enough for you, the Blue Oval will bring its machines to life at the popular Ford Out Front display.
