XForce is best-known for its Varex mufflers—the ones that feature a driver-controlled butterfly valve unit that adjusts sound levels to your liking—but they have some nice exhaust systems and headers for late model Mustangs that you should see. Everything is made from mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel for long life and is a direct swap for the factory parts.
Exhaust Systems with Turbo Mufflers
Choose from a cat-back for 2015-17 GT or EcoBoost models. Both feature three inch diameter tubing, two turbo-style stainless steel mufflers, and polished stainless steel tips with four inch outlets. The GT system is a true-dual exhaust; the EcoBoost system is a single in/dual out configuration. Summit Racing also carries a complete engine-back system for the GT that includes a pair of full length stainless steel headers with 1 7/8 inch diameter primary tubes plus a pair of catalytic converters.
Exhaust Systems with Varex Mufflers
These systems feature XForce’s Varex mufflers. They feature a butterfly valve mechanism driven by an electric motor; the valve redirects the exhaust gas flow based on the driver-selected sound level. For a mellow sound, exhaust gas goes through the muffler’s chambered system (similar to a factory high performance muffler). When you want to go nuclear, the exhaust gas goes through the center tube, much like a straight-through muffler. Since the angle of the butterfly valve is infinitely adjustable, you can set the sound at any level between the two points.
We have a cat-back system for 2005-17 GT, or you can splurge and get a full kit with 1 7/8 inch primary headers and catalytic converters. The systems for the 2015-18 EcoBoost cars are available in cat-back and turbo-back configurations. We also have muffler-only systems for 2005-10 GTs and axle-back systems for 2011-14 V8 cars.
